At JEM Equestrians, our passion and love for horses inspire everything we do. Founded and led by Jillian, owner and head trainer, JEM Equestrians is built on dedication, integrity, and a genuine commitment to the horses and riders she works with. Jillian takes great pride in providing a positive, supportive environment where both horses and students can learn, grow, and succeed.
Over the years, Jillian has discovered that training, riding, and teaching are not just her profession—they are her true calling. Her passion for the sport and for developing well-rounded equestrians is evident in every lesson and interaction. She strives to provide the highest standard of instruction, ensuring that each student receives the time, attention, and guidance they need to excel.
Jillian’s teaching philosophy begins with strong horsemanship fundamentals. Students first learn to understand horse behavior, gain confidence on the ground, and master the essentials of grooming and tacking up. Under saddle, she emphasizes patience, precision, and confidence—never rushing progress, but ensuring a solid foundation before advancing.
From helping new riders learn to steer to guiding advanced students through 3-foot jumper courses, Jillian is dedicated to bringing out the best in every rider. Her goal is simple: to build confident, capable, and compassionate equestrians who share the same love for the sport that drives her every day.

Jillian’s love for horses and the sport started at the age of five. Whether she’s hanging out at the barn or hopping on her horses for a ride, you’ll always find a smile on her face.
She has been showing and competing since she was a young girl, growing up in the hunter ring but finding her true passion in the jumpers. Jillian has spent many years competing throughout Florida at both local and rated shows, gaining valuable experience in and out of the show ring.
With over five years in the training industry, Jillian has worked her way up through dedication and hard work to build a career doing what she loves. Today, she enjoys sharing her passion for horses by helping riders and horses grow together through patience, consistency, and good horsemanship.
